GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS

1. The main objective of this volume of ‘BEEKSHAN’, ISSN 2250-0898, Vol. XIII, a double-blind peerreviewed biennial and bilingual philosophical journal of Jagannath Barooah University, Assam, India, is to promote interdisciplinary research in philosophical studies, and also reflecting multidisciplinary perspectives within philosophical inquiry, thereby encouraging more deeper, clearer and more expansive way of thinking.
2. This is bilingual (Assamese/English) journal in nature. 
3. The paper must be original research work. The paper must be plagiarized which must be below 10% and the contributor must provide declaration certificate which indicate that his/her paper has not been published in any other journal.
4. The word limit of the paper should be 2000-6000 words including the abstract. Abstract should contain maximum 250 words.
5. For manuscripts in English Times New Roman, Font size 12, should be used. In case of Assamese manuscripts,
Ramdhenu software with Geetanjali Font size 12 should be necessary. Manuscripts should be typed with 1.5 line spacing.
6. Latest APA style of referencing must be used for in-text citation and references.
7. Contributors should submit two separate files-
              (a) Manuscript file (for review) -must not contain any author details.
              (b) Title page file –must include author’s name, affiliation, contact no. and email address.
8. The author should send one copy of the PDF and one copy of the word file for their paper.
9. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by experts of the respective areas.
10. The editors are not responsible for the content or views expressed in the research papers/articles. The printer, publisher, reviewers and the editors do not accept any liability for disputes regarding the research papers/articles.
11. The editors reserve the right to make necessary corrections or changes to manuscripts prior to publication.
